The circle you can walk around in under an hour. Your street, your block, the houses you pass every day. Small enough to pray over on foot, doorstep by doorstep.

A longer prayer walk, or the whole of a campus or a village. Still ground you can cover with your own feet, which is how most fields are meant to begin.

An hour of walking, or a good route on a bicycle. Wide enough to hold a few thousand souls, close enough that you will start recognising faces.

Your neighborhood and the ones beside it. Choose this if you are young, new to witnessing, or without a car. Everything here is within a walk or a bus ride, and you already know some of these faces.

Your whole region. Choose this only if you are mobilizing churches, leading a team, or already travelling for ministry. A field this wide needs others praying with you, or it becomes a map you look at instead of ground you cover.
