We are living in the age of the Partial Christ.
We want the crown without the cross.
Grace without correction.
Salvation without surrender.
A Savior who serves our desires, but never a Sovereign who commands our lives.
But the Gospel is not a buffet. We do not select the truths that protect our comfort and reject the truths that demand our death.
Christ is not divided.
Truth is not negotiable.
And surrender cannot be partial.
The Blindness Between Two Kingdoms
Scripture says the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers.
But perhaps the most dangerous blindness is not found in the person who openly rejects God. It is found in the person who calls Jesus “Lord” while resisting everything He has said.
They stand before the blazing Light of Christ and reduce Him to a candle.
They confess the Kingdom, yet defend the values of the world.
They call it tolerance.
They call it progress.
They call it personal conviction.
But when human ideology contradicts divine authority, neutrality becomes rebellion.
You cannot serve two masters.
You cannot build a bridge between the Kingdom of God and the towers of Babel.
Eventually, every bridge becomes a road. And every road leads somewhere.
The Fruit Exposes the Root
A fruit may appear ripe on the outside while rotting at the core.
The color is beautiful.
The skin is soft.
But the first bite reveals the corruption within.
So it is with counterfeit Christianity.
The mouth confesses Christ.
The lips sing worship songs.
The vocabulary sounds spiritual.
But the life bows to the spirit of the age.
The hands support what God opposes.
The feet march where Christ never leads.
The vote contradicts the Word.
The life denies what the lips declare.
A tree is not known by the label hanging from its branch.
It is known by its fruit.
If the fruit of your life tastes like the world, then your roots are drinking from the world’s well.
The Holy Spirit does not transform only the private heart. His work eventually reaches the surface.
He changes the mind.
He governs the mouth.
He redirects the hands.
He orders the feet.
He confronts the desires.
He reshapes the convictions.
Real transformation becomes visible.
The Gospel Demands Everything
The Gospel is not a suggestion for self-improvement.
It is not an accessory added to an unchanged life.
It is not a religious costume worn over rebellion.
The Gospel is the death of the old self and the resurrection of a new creation.
It is a complete “Yes” to God that requires a decisive “No” to everything that opposes Him.
You cannot confess the Author of Life while defending death.
You cannot honor God’s covenant while demanding the right to redefine it.
You cannot call Jesus Lord while reserving the right to overrule Him.
“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”
That question still burns.
The Fence Is Disappearing
The middle ground is collapsing.
The fence is no longer safe.
The line is becoming clear.
To be almost surrendered is to remain unsurrendered.
To be partially obedient is still disobedience.
To wear the King’s armor while opening the gate to His enemies is not confusion.
It is betrayal.
The real question is not whether you admire Jesus.
The question is whether He is Lord.
Who governs your politics?
Who defines your sexuality?
Who shapes your morality?
Who commands your loyalty?
Who has the final word?
If Scripture is not the final authority over every part of your life, then your faith may be nothing more than a costume worn for religious comfort.
Christ did not come to decorate your life.
He came to become your life.
It is time to stop performing Christianity.
There is no partial cross.
No partial surrender.
No partial resurrection.
No divided throne.
You are either dead in sin or alive in Christ.
Either Jesus is Lord of everything, or He is not Lord at all.
Choose whom you will serve.
